This is my first time shopping with Sydney Tools but their customer service team over the phone I am not sure what they do but i have a hunch that they are not giving out correct information... I have sent an email to advise them the tracking number they sent me via email is not recognized by Australia Post and when I logged into my order the status remains unchanged, still says" processing...It would have been better for me to go to Bunnngs to buy one instead of shopping with this company...now I am waiting on my last email to confirm correct info for tracking but I get no response...if this persists over the next few days, i will have to contact paypa for a refund and that can also be another story...
Everything I have ever bought has been exactly as they have described, the order has been handled promptly and shipped immediately. The whole process has been perfect.
Yeah, I don't agree with retailers locking their mitts on your money once you've handed it over in situations like these. Trouble is, last time I tried raising a complaint to the Department of Fair Trade almost 15 years ago arguing that they sold me аркада казино a product which was unnecessary and returned unopened, still in resellable condition, they just told me that they would put my complaint on file with no mention of forcing them to offer me a refund instead of a store credit.

All a bit odd when looking at power tools in Australia and particular a dust extraction for $299 with 2 motors , and when I saw the Made in PRC on the box I ask the rep what that means.
I look at most hardware stores and wonder what keeps them afloat. The guys handling customer service probably have similar thoughts. There is a strong correlation with how much profit is being made and the level of service on offer.
I also buy their grinder disks and are good. I will consider there stuff Some if their newer platinum stuff is made in germany now.
The only thing I can guess from these anomalies is that they're grey importing and that means that Makita, as well as their authorised repairers, are under no obligation to provide me with warranty service.
None of my 3 employees will use it as it is a frustrating feature. The machine stops automatically all the time under minor load.
Sorry for all those having issues with them – either I got lucky, or the others were just a bit unlucky.
You might save a minor buck on their prices but it really is just a "carsalesman shop" staff wise. Buy elsewhere and save yourself the frustration of arrogance.
